COVID-19 Case Dashboard Down for Maintenance; DHHS Reporting Manual Case Data in Interim

LINCOLN- The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) announced Tuesday evening that it is taking the state COVID-19 Case Dashboard offline temporarily for maintenance and a system update. The data team is working to resolve issues and expects the site will be unavailable until later in the week.

Data on the state’s COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard remains unaffected.

Local health departments are reporting COVID-19 data in their jurisdictions. Please refer to your local health department for the latest information. In the interim, DHHS will provide a daily recap on the status of COVID-19 positive cases, hospital capacity and hospitalizations, deaths, and other data as available.

For Monday, Jan. 18, DHHS reports the following:

  • Total Deaths (+5) – 1842
  • Active Hospitalizations – 429
  • Total Staffed Beds, 14 day average – 4064
  • Directed Health Measure (DHM) Threshold – 10% (blue)

For Tuesday, Jan. 19, DHHS reports the following:

  • Total Deaths (+8) – 1850
  • Active Hospitalizations – 438
  • Total Staffed Beds, 14 day average – 4069
  • Directed Health Measure (DHM) Threshold – 10% (blue)

These are the latest validated figures and will be reflected when the case dashboard returns. DHHS appreciates your patience as the data team works to update the system.
