
Tammy Holcomb has been appointed as a Fremont High School assistant principal, beginning July 1.
Seth McClain, current assistant principal has been named as the FHS activities director/assistant principal also starting July 1.
Holcomb has Bachelor of Science degrees in education and biology and chemistry from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and Masters of Arts in Education from UNK.
Holcomb’s teaching career started in 1994 at Ansley Public Schools. She has also worked for David City Public Schools, Centura Public Schools, Blair Public Schools and the Nebraska State Patrol.
Holcomb has three adult children and one granddaughter.
“Tammy brings valuable experience as a teacher and administrator to Fremont High Schools,” Superintendent Dr. Brad Dahl said. “We’re excited to see her develop relationships with students, staff and the community.”
