The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred Sunday morning.
At about 12:24 a.m., the Fremont/Dodge County Communications Center received an automated message that a vehicle had been in a crash at Platte River Road and County Road 12, east of North Bend.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2016 Black Harley Davidson motorcycle was westbound on Platte River Road when it failed to negotiate the curve, running off the road and crashing into the south ditch.
The driver of the motorcycle, Quintin Frazier, 30, of North Bend, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Frazier was wearing a helmet. The crash remains under investigation. At this time, it is unknown if speed and alcohol are considered factors in the accident.
The DCSO was assisted by the North Bend Fire Department and the Dodge County Drone Team.
