
The RVR Bank Board of Directors has announced the promotion of three key team members following its recent annual meeting.
Kristy Pafford – Senior Vice President, Human Resources – With a career at RVR Bank spanning 25 years, Pafford has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Having started her journey as a teller and customer service representative, Pafford has held numerous roles, including lobby supervisor, assistant cashier, compliance assistant, and most recently, Vice President of Human Resources.
Pafford is a graduate of Leadership Fremont, the NBA Bank Operations School, and the School of Banking Fundamentals. She is an active member of the Human Resource Association of the Midlands and serves as co-treasurer for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Dodge County. She also volunteers with the Fremont Area Habitat for Humanity.

Stacy Gibney – Vice President, Loan Operations – Gibney has been promoted to Vice President, Loan Operations. Since joining RVR Bank in 2015 as a Credit Analyst, Gibney has risen through the ranks as senior credit analyst and loan operations supervisor before becoming Assistant Vice President in 2021. She brings more than25 years of experience in accounting and banking to her role.
An honors graduate of the Leadership Fremont program and Leadership 2.0, Gibney also completed the NBA/KBA Schools of Banking for Commercial Lending. She currently serves as treasurer for both Keep Fremont Beautiful and the Friends of Fremont Area Parks.

Garrett Schwanke – Assistant Vice President, Loan Officer – Schwanke has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Loan Officer. After completing an internship with the bank, Schwanke joined RVR full-time in 2020 as a credit analyst. He has since expanded his expertise into direct lending for the commercial and agricultural sectors. In addition to his lending duties, Schwanke serves as the bank’s joint Security Officer.
Schwanke holds a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from the University of Nebraska–Kearney. He is active in the community, chairing the Fremont Youth Leadership Academy and serving on the Board of Directors for the Fremont Area Young Professionals and the Fremont 4H Expo. He is also a Chamber Diplomat and an honors graduate of Leadership Fremont.
