Fremont police investigated a disturbance that was in progress, with injury, in the 300 block of North Main Street Sunday night.
The incident occurred at about 1:21 a.m. and resulted in the arrest of Julio E. Dzib-Canche, 47, of Fremont for assault in the third degree and disorderly conduct.
