
Fremont Public Schools has announced the appointment of Scott Anderson as the Fremont Middle School assistant principal, beginning July 1.
Jeff Manka, current FMS assistant principal has been named as the Johnson Crossing Academic Center principal
also starting July 1.
“Scott excels at building positive relationships and communicating with students, staff and parents. His expertise will serve Fremont Middle School well in growing and preparing students,” FPS Superintendent Dr. Brad Dahl,said.
Anderson is the current activities director/assistant principal at Fremont High School and has been in that position since 2017. He previously served as an assistant principal/activities director at Auburn Public Schools. The district will immediately begin receiving applications for a new FHS activities director/assistant principal.
Anderson grew up in Lincoln and graduated from Lincoln Pius X. He received his undergraduate degree from Nebraska Wesleyan and his Administration Degree from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. He has two children who attend Fremont Public Schools and his wife, Tiffany, is a counselor at Fremont High School.
