Jean C. Schleicher, 90, of Fremont, NE passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 at The Heritage at Shalimar Gardens in Fremont.
She was born on May 12, 1931 in Kansas City. MO to Howard and Elsie (Shafer) McConnell.
Jean was raised in Kansas City and graduated high school. She married Leo Schleicher, Jr. on September 30, 1950 in St. Agnes Church. They moved to Denver, Co in 1959 and to Overland Park, Kansas in 1965. In 1966, they moved to Leawood, Kansas and then to Fremont in 1967, where they have resided ever since.
Jean was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and Beta Sigma Phi.
She is survived by her sons; Leo (Susan) Schleicher III of Brookings, SD and Stephen (Sherri) Schleicher of Fremont; daughters, Nancy (Dennis) White of Cave Creek, AZ, Sandra (Don) Hasenkamp of Bode, IA; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and 1 brother, Roger McConnell.
Funeral Service is 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation is 1 hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
