FREMONT – Fremont Police report that a burglary occurred at a residence on Monday, September 5, at approximately 3:30 pm in the 600 block of north I Street.
The victim said that sometime between noon and 3:15 pm, a stranger entered the residence by forcing in the front door and took two sleeping bags and cash. FPD says the estimated loss is approximately $500.00.

Fremont Police also cited a woman on Monday, October 5, for shoplifting at a business in the 3000 block of east 23rd Avenue.
The business reported the shoplifting incident at 7:30 pm, stating that 41-year-old, Jamie. A Weinrich of Fremont was altering the price tags on items before paying for them.
