Rose Mary Rathbun age 79 of Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska passed away, Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Methodist Fremont Health. Rose was born July 29, 1941 in Blair, NE to Edwin and Alice (Farley) Stenvall.
Rose grew up in Tekamah, Nebraska and graduated from high School there. She lived in several places including Herman, Nebraska, and Alaska prior to moving to Cedar Bluffs in 1971. Rose married James Rathbun on April 4, 1975 at Missouri Valley, Iowa. She loved to read and do genealogy.
Survived by her son, Rick Shutt of Cedar Bluffs; step-daughters, Tammy (Larry) Trout and Marsh Rathbun-Peckett all of Fremont; 2 grandchildren, Amanda Jarose and Rashelle Herre; 5 great-grandchildren, Addie and Eli Jarose, Luella and Merebelle Herre and Jeremiah Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband (2-18-2017) and 3, Elsie and Dorothy Stenvall and Maryann Wilkinson.
Graveside Service 10:30 A.M., Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Kennard Cemetery in Kennard, Nebraska.
