SCRIBNER – Miles For Heroes, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising support and awareness for Veterans of the United States Military, and helping those who continue to battle the effects of combat here at home, will once again hold their annual FreedomFest concert, poker run & 5K to raise funds to support that mission.
The events of FreedomFest 2020 will be divided between Friday, August 28th and Saturday, August 29th. The FreedomFest concert will be Friday the 28th, featuring Dylan Bloom, Whiskey Bent, and Third Frate. The concert begins at 7PM.
Saturday the 29th will start out with the annual 5K Fun Run and Walk at 8AM. Those who register by August 13th receive a free shirt. After the Fun Run & Walk comes the FreedomFest Poker Run. Registration begins at 9:30 am on Main Street, Scribner, NE with kickstands up at 11:00 am. Door prizes and drawings will be held during the event with 2020 Poker Run Shirts available for purchase.
