FPD responds to recent events

The Fremont Police Department responded to some recent incidents. All of the information is from FPD.

At about 5:50 Friday afternoon, officers responded to a vehicle crash in the area of 100 E. Washington St. An investigation was completed and Gilberto Moreno Lacuesta of Fremont was arrested for DUI.

At 6:30 p.m. Friday, officers were called to a vehicle crash in the 600 Block of North D St. An investigation was completed and Richard Dawson of Fremont was arrested for DUI.

At about 12:20 Saturday morning police investigated a disturbance in the area of 1000 Nelson Lane. An investigation was completed and Jake Meyer or Fremont was arrested for assault causing bodily injury.

Officers were called at about 2:57 Sunday morning to the area of 300 East 10th Street for a theft report. An investigation was completed and Justus Peltier, who FPD said is homeless, was arrested for theft by unlawful taking.

FPD responded at about 6 Sunday night to the area of 1600 North Broad Street for a trespass complaint.

Following an investigation, Serena Pruitt of Council Bluffs, Iowa, was arrested for criminal trespass.

Officers were called a 3:23 Monday morning to the area of 2400 North Yager Road in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers conducted an investigation and Enrique Gonzalez, who FPD said was homeless, was arrested for disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
