Frank Kment of RVR Bank has completed the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (GSBC), a nationally recognized leadership development program for community bankers. Kment completed a rigorous 25-month curriculum designed to prepare rising leaders to make bold, strategic decisions that benefit their institutions and communities.

Kment was among 175 students honored during a graduation ceremony conducted July 24 on the University of Colorado campus in Boulder. GSBC’s Annual School Session, hosted each July, immerses students in three consecutive years of classroom learning paired with six real-world intersession projects. Each student’s final project addresses a strategic opportunity or challenge unique to their organization, bringing immediate value back to the communities they serve.

GSBC’s modern curriculum reflects the evolving needs of today’s community banks and is taught by industry-leading faculty. Coursework spans four core areas: Financial Management & Strategy, Innovation & Engagement, Leadership & Culture and Lending. The program culminates in a hands-on bank management simulation where students lead a virtual institution through shifting market conditions and competitive pressures.

In addition to earning GSBC’s prestigious diploma in banking, Kment was one of 32 individuals recognized with the Affordable Housing Micro-Credential.  This is offered in partnership with the FHLBank Topeka’s Affordable Housing Institute and Metropolitan State University of Denver. It is available as supplementary coursework to GSBC students and is designed to educate participants on affordable housing finance and the role of community banks in supporting such initiatives.

The 2025 Session marked GSBC’s 74th year, welcoming nearly 500 students from across the country.
