Work has started on the North Bend to Fremont relinquishment project, as a result Platte River Road (old U.S. Highway 30) has been closed at County Road 13.
There is a marked detour in place which will remain until the bridge replacement is complete.
Officials with the Nebraska Department of Transportation said further updates will be sent as they become pertinent.
