Today, U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-NE) announced that her office is accepting applications for a nomination to a U.S. Service Academy for the Class of 2031.
“I’m proud to once again accept applications from young Nebraskans who are interested in attending one of our prestigious U.S. Service Academies,” Fischer said. “This is an incredible opportunity to serve our country and fellow Americans, and I encourage all who are interested to apply.”
Each year, Fischer nominates – or recommends – a select group of young men and women to attend one of our five United States Service Academies: United States Air Force Academy, United States Coast Guard Academy, United States Merchant Marine Academy, United States Military Academy, or United States Naval Academy.
Each academy requires a separate application to attend, which is independent of applying for a nomination through a Congressional office. To learn more about the process, click here.
Please contact Kevin Huebert, Fischer’s Director of Military and Veterans Affairs, at (402) 391-3411 with any questions.
