
The Fremont Police Department has issued citations in the pedestrian/vehicle accident that occurred Thursday in front of Fremont High School.
Students were conducting an anti-ICE demonstration when the accident happened.
One adult, Megan Sheaks of Fremont was cited for criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
A juvenile driver was cited for leaving the scene of a personal injury accident while a juvenile pedestrian was cited for being a pedestrian on a highway/roadway.
Two juveniles were cited for obstructing a police officer and disorderly conduct while another juvenile was cited for criminal mischief and theft.
The protest was not sponsored by FHS. Fremont Public Schools issued a statement noting that school officials were on-site to monitor the event for student safety.
