Fremont police responded at 1:52 Sunday morning to the area of 400 North Park Avenue for an assault complaint.
A subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of Eduardo Perez-Ventura, 23, of Fremont for assault -second degree and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
