On Sept. 26, the Fremont City Council approved two new card categories at Keene Memorial Library for children in Fremont.
Parents can “opt-in” to these new card types, allowing their child to checkout only from the juvenile collection or only from the juvenile and young adult collections. They may also leave the card as unrestricted, allowing the child access to all materials in the library.
These new options are available when registering for a new card and may be applied to existing cards upon request of a parent or guardian. For more information, stop by the circulation desk.
The library is temporarily located at the City Auditorium, 925 N Broad St., and is open Monday 9:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.; Tuesday 9:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.; Wednesday 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.; Thursday 9:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.; Friday 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.; and Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
