
An annual event that celebrates the richness of Hispanic tradition and influences is set for Aug. 16 in Fremont.
The Hispanic Festival will feature an array of family-friendly activities, live music, traditional dances, art exhibitions and cuisine. The event aims to enhance cultural understanding and foster unity while providing a platform for local talents to shine.
The event will begin at noon with a parade on Main Street. The route will begin on First Street and head north on Main Street to 11th. Following the parade, there will be vendors, live music, cultural performances, and games at John C. Fremont City Park. The festival will conclude at 9 p.m.
