First Lutheran Church is having a benefit for the Fremont Area United Way on Thursday.
The Food Truck Festival with a classic car show is set for 5 to 7 p.m. in the FLC parking lot, 3200 E. Military Avenue. Funds will go toward United Way food security programs.
Businesses participating include: Salt & Pepper BBQ, Nick’s Street Eats, Scouty’s Shave Ice, Mom’s Popcorn, Cravingz, Sabor Costeno, Reinita’s Ice Cream, Parker’s Custom Cookies and Ring of Fire.
Organizers said people can stay to eat or get their food to go. Tables will be set up outside as well as inside the church.
There will also be about 20 classic cars on display with a vote for the crowd favorite. There will also be games and other outdoor activities.
