Fremont Public Schools provided an update on its COVID-19 numbers this afternoon.
Five students missed school today due to a positive COVID-19 test while seven weren’t in school due to quarantine for exposure. There were 187 students absent today for any illness.
There were no employees not working today due to a positive COVID-19 test and none were out due to quarantine for exposure. There were 35 certified teaching staff not at work Friday due to any reason.
FPS officials said the numbers remained consistent this week with only .10% of the students out with a positive test and 3.74% out for illness (including those positive for COVID) or in quarantine.
