Fremont Public Schools released its COVID-19 update on Friday.
There were 14 students not in school that day due to a positive COVID-19 test while 11 were not in school due to quarantine for exposure. There were 186 students absent for any illness.
There was only one employee not working Friday due to a positive COVID-19 test while none were out due to quarantine for exposure. There were 44 certified teaching staff not at work for any reason.
FPS officials said the numbers for the week remained pretty consistent with .28% of the district’s students out with a positive test and 3.73% out for illness (including those positive for COVID) or quarantine.
