There were no injuries reported from a house fire Sunday morning at 206 E. Oak St. in Cedar Bluffs.
The fire call was received at about 12:56 a.m. Half of the two-story house, owned by Victoria Miller, was fully involved in the fire, which had already vented through the roof when firefighters responded shortly thereafter.
The home, built in 1898, is a total loss, fire officials said. Several of the family’s pets at the home were lost due to the blaze.
Approximately 35 fire personnel from Cedar Bluffs and Fremont Rural volunteer fire departments responded to the scene in freezing temperatures.

The Cedar Bluffs volunteer fire department, Fremont rural and Morse Bluff volunteer fire department also responded to a blaze at an area building at 3 p.m. Sunday.
A passerby noticed the fire at a storage building at a farm 2 miles west of Cedar Bluffs. Fire officials said a wood burner caused the fire in the building estimated to be about 100 feet by 30 feet.
No one was injured. The building was a total loss.
