Jaguars are fast on turf!  Cross County found that out Monday morning, as Levi Belina threw for one short TD, and ran for 4 TD’s, as Howells-Dodge cruised to a 42-12 win over Cross County in the D-1 Eight Man Championship game Monday.  The Jaguars took the first quarter to figure out Cross County, then scored 20 unanswered points, to lead 20-0 at halftime.  Howells-Dodge scored twice in the 3rd quarter, to make it 34-6, then finished it off with another TD in the 4th.  Levi Belina carried the ball 23 times for 153 yards and 4 TD’s.  Lance Brester scored once and rushed 11 times for 55 yards.   The Jaguars only passed twice, and one was a 6 yard TD to Gavin Nelson.   Howells-Dodge finished the year, undefeated at 11-0.  Cross County had a strong year, finishing 9-2.
