Columbus man cited twice for reckless driving

An incident Saturday during a soccer tournament at Christensen Field led to a Columbus man being cited on two counts of reckless driving.

Officers were dispatched Saturday to the fields due to a disorderly man who refused to leave the tournament. The officers made contact with Dustin Geier, 39, who, while leaving in his vehicle, accelerated which caused the rear tires of his vehicle to spin with dirt and rocks being thrown.

Geier was cited for that incident. Then, while he was leaving after he received the citation, he accelerated again with rocks and dirt being scattered. He was cited for a second time.
