Disturbance complaint leads to arrest

A Fremont man was arrested Wednesday morning on suspicion of assault (intimidation) following a disturbance complaint at a residence in the 700 block of west Washington Street. 
 
Oscar Hernandez-Castaneda, 57, was arrested at about 11:15 a.m. after police responded to an argument. The officers learned that an acquaintance of Hernandez-Castaneda locked herself in a room at the residence in fear of him. Hernandez-Castaneda then forcibly opened the locked door to confront her.
