FREMONT- The Fremont Friendship Center is now able to serve lunches indoors to seniors starting October 1. The center will also continue to provide its Grab N Go lunch service through the month of October.
For any senior receiving lunch, the center will start serving meals at the kitchen window at 11:30 am and then you can proceed to a table with a limit of four people per table.
The suggested donation for lunch is $4 and the center asks that you call by noon the day before for your reservation. To make your lunch reservation call 402-727-2815.
For activities, there will be a check-in time from 9:15-9:45 am for morning activities and from 12:45-1:00 pm for afternoon activities. Each morning there will be group activities only with no cards.
Seniors must arrive during this time frame. The center’s doors will be closed after each of the check-in times end. At check-in, temperatures will be taken, along with completing a symptom checklist.
The Fremont Friendship Center reminds citizens that temperatures will be taken and a symptom checklist completed prior to entering the building. They ask that you please be patient as staff takes the time to record information, to help if contact tracing becomes necessary. As a reminder, the center says that you are participating at your own risk and they ask that you stay home if you are not feeling well.
