FPD Reports Thefts and Burglaries Tuesday

FREMONT – Fremont Police received two theft and two burglary reports Tuesday, September 15, 2020.

At approximately 11:30 am, a theft complaint was made at a business in the 100 block of north D Street.  Reported stolen was a drain cleaning machine valued at approximately $2,800.00.  The machine was in the back of a business owned van that was parked outside.

At approximately 12:00 pm, a burglary was reported at a residence in the 2000 block of Charles Street.  It was reported that sometime overnight, someone entered an unattached garage and took items from a car parked inside. The items include a wallet with banking and credit cards and vehicle key fobs. The estimated loss at this time is approximately $300.00.

At approximately 12:25 pm, a burglary was reported at a storage unit in the 500 block of south Main Street. It was reported that overnight, someone forcibly entered a storage unit and took a toolbox containing various tools and a water pump wrench. The estimated loss is approximately $3,000.00.

At approximately 3:30 pm, a theft complaint was made at a business in the 500 block of west 23rd Street. It was reported that sometime during the daytime hours someone took the back license plate off a vehicle that was parked in the business parking lot.  The plate bears Nebraska number 5-A3501.
