City News This Week: One City employee diagnosed with COVID-19

FREMONT – During Monday’s radio visit with Bob Flittie, Fremont Administrator Brian Newton shared some disappointing news. One City employee has come down with the coronavirus:

 
Newton said it has been a real awakening, after going for months without a single case among City employees:

 
Newton said he cautions everyone to be prepared for appropriate physical distancing, and for the need to wear masks in many cases:

 
Turning to the topic of construction projects, Brian Newton reported that the work to refurbish the Lift Station at 16^th and Johnson Road, at the roundabout, continues as least til the end of the week. The water inside the lift station must be removed and the inside dried out:
