City News This Week: One City employee diagnosed with COVID-19

FREMONT – During Monday’s radio visit with Bob Flittie, Fremont Administrator Brian Newton shared some disappointing news. One City employee has come down with the coronavirus:

 
Newton said it has been a real awakening, after going for months without a single case among City employees:

 
Newton said he cautions everyone to be prepared for appropriate physical distancing, and for the need to wear masks in many cases:

 
Turning to the topic of construction projects, Brian Newton reported that the work to refurbish the Lift Station at 16th and Johnson Road, at the roundabout, continues as least til the end of the week. The water inside the lift station must be removed and the inside dried out:
