  1. Connie Dostal of Kiel’s Barber Shop gets involved at Midland Luthern College by doing the business bash to let the new students know where to go to get their hair care needs.

Connie also helps sponsor the semi pro baseball team in Fremont the Moos. She sponsors a business day at Moller field which gets people to the ball park for the game. The business day envolves all the hot dogs and burgers for free. It’s a fun evening for all there..

She is active in her church by running the senior dinner at the Catholic Church in North Bend. She organizes all the help, also sets the menu and arranges to get the food and cooking of the food….

She does all this while owning and managing Kiel’s Barber Shop employing a barber and a high school student as a very capable janitor….

    • Make sure you use the form linked in the story to make your nomination directly to the Chamber! While we agree that Connie is a great leader, we are not in charge of these awards or nominations.
