FPD Investigating Smashed Windows on Snead, Home Invasion on L St

FREMONT – The Fremont Police Department is investigating a property damage incident that occurred sometime between 2AM and 5:45 this morning.
Just before 6AM, Fremont Police responded to a damage to property complaint at a residence in the 3000 block of Snead Drive. The victim reported that his Gray 2013 Nissan Sentra was parked on the street in front of his residence.  Sometime in the early morning hours Thursday, someone smashed in both the driver’s side front and rear windows.  Damage is estimated at $500.00.

On Wednesday night, around 11PM, Fremont Police were dispatched to a reported home invasion in progress. The call to police stated that a group of juveniles were attempting to break into a residence.  Police arrived at the home in the 1200 block of north L Street, where they saw numerous juveniles fleeing the area.
Three 16-year-old males were apprehended and cited on suspicion of numerous offenses including Obstructing a Peace Officer, Minor in Possession of Alcohol, Possession of Marijuana less than One Ounce and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  All three were released to the custody of their parents.
