Two DUI Arrests Made Early Wednesday Morning

FREMONT – Fremont Police arrested two individuals in the early morning hours Wednesday, October 21.

At approximately 1:50 am, Heather L. Williams, 35, of Bellevue, NE was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near Hwy 275 and Morningside Road. Williams was stopped after a report from another agency that she was possibly driving intoxicated following a domestic dispute.

After she was stopped she showed signs of impairment and was arrested.  A minor child was also observed in the car.  During her arrest, Williams fought with officers. She was additionally charged with Child Abuse not Resulting in Injury, refusal to submit to a chemical test, and resisting arrest. Neither officer was injured.

 The second arrest was made at approximately 3:05 am. Juan M. Hernandez-Montoya, 32, of Fremont was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol following a welfare check in the intersection of Military Avenue and M Street.

A man was reported to be passed out in the driver’s seat of a running vehicle. Officers had contact with Hernandez-Montoya who showed signs of impairment and was arrested. During his arrest, Hernandez-Montoya was non-compliant with officers.  He was also charged with Obstructing a Peace Officer and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.
