The Greater Fremont Development Council has planned housing study listening sessions for communities in Dodge and Saunders Counties that will be hosted by Hanna:Keelan and Associates, P.C.
GFDC is currently updating the 2017 Dodge County & Communities-Wide Housing Study, with the guidance of the county-wide Housing Task Force. The five-year study will also include the neighboring village of Cedar Bluffs.
During the listening sessions, Hanna:Keelan Associates, a Lincoln, Nebraska-based community-planning, and research consulting firm will discuss surveys that GDFC sent out and they will be receiving input from the public to discuss current and future community housing needs.
The sessions will be hosted in the following communities next week.

The listening sessions and GDFC surveys will greatly assist GDFC in completing the five-year study and it is expected to be published later this fall on the GFDC website.
The study is being funded by the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority, with matching funds from GFDC, Fremont Area Community Foundation (FACF), and the Cedar Bluffs Education Foundation (CBEF).
Participants who attend the sessions in person are asked to practice social distancing and wear masks due to COVID-19.
