SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has announced its 2025-26 Women’s Basketball All-Conference teams and individual award winners. Midland University had two student-athletes earn honorable mention recognition, with juniors Jenna Weber and Ellie Bovaird both honored by the league’s coaches.
Weber, a junior from Spring Hill, Kansas, led the Warriors in scoring and rebounding during the 2025-26 campaign. She averaged 17.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game while also ranking second on the team in assists with 1.8 per contest.
Bovaird, a junior from Lincoln, Nebraska, led Midland in assists with 2.8 per game while finishing second on the team in scoring at 9.0 points per game. She also averaged 4.0 rebounds per contest, ranking second on the team.
Headlining the conference honors, Macy Sievers of Dordt University was named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Year. Other major award winners included Avery Broughton of Dakota Wesleyan as Defensive Player of the Year, Abby Lee of Briar Cliff as Freshman of the Year, and Dordt’s Bill Harmsen as Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Coach of the Year.
