Thomas A. “Tom” Gotschall, 61, of Fremont passed away Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Life Care Center in Elkhorn.
Tom was born on September 11, 1964 to Jay and Dottie (Dickinson) Gotschall in Fremont. He served in the United States Army from August 19, 1982 to August 18, 1985 and continued his reserve obligation until October 18, 1988.
Over the years, Tom worked as an over-the-road truck driver.
He was preceded by his parents; daughter, Emily Nicole Gotschall and nephew, Kyle Shipman.
He is survived by his sister, Lisa (Tom) Shipman; and brothers, Steve (Jo), Dick (Dee) and Bill (Monica) Gotschall.
A private graveside service will be held with full military honors at Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.
