
The Fremont Police Department is investigating incidents from the weekend. All the information is from FPD.
At about 4:34 Saturday morning, law enforcement responded to the area of North D Street and East 12th Street for a property damage hit-and-run. An investigation was conducted resulting in the arrest of Israel Miranda Larios, 29, of Fremont for driving under the influence .15+, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, open alcohol container in vehicle and no operator’s license.
At approximately 5:05 a.m. Saturday, officers had contact with Justus B. Peltier, 29, who FPD said is homeless. Peltier had an active Saunders County warrant. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Dodge County Jail. While at that jail he became uncooperative and caused damage within the facility. He was then charged with criminal mischief and obstruction of a peace officer
At 8:53 Saturday night, FPD responded to the 2600 block of North Laverna Street for an assault. Scott R. McClain, 64, of Fremont was arrested for third-degree domestic assault/intimidation.
