LeRoy J. Kallhoff, 82, of Fremont passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Hospice House in Omaha. He was born April 18, 1943 in Royal to Bernard and Lovina (Ziegenbein) Kallhoff.

LeRoy grew up in Omaha and graduated from Westside High School. LeRoy served in the US Air Force during Vietnam from August 26, 1963 to September 23, 1964. He married Lorraine Buse on October 22, 1966 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point. After their marriage they settled in Omaha where he started his long career with Kellogg’s Cereal Company. He was a steward and past president of Kellogg’s Union. They later moved to Fremont in the early 1970s. He also was a member of Fremont Anglers Club, Robinhood Archery Club and enjoyed camping, fishing, drag racing and attending his grandchildren’s activities.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine of Fremont; sons, Al (Lisa) Kallhoff of Omaha, Greg (Lisa) Kallhoff of Lincoln, and Rich Kallhoff of Omaha; brothers, Al (Bonnie) of Iowa, Tom (Rita) of Colorado, Tim of Neligh, Mike (Francine) of Oakdale, Dan (Sue) of Omaha and Chris (Lisa) of Yankton, South Dakota; sisters, Ann (Galen) Reinke of Lincoln, Phyllis (Alex) Matczyszyn of Lincoln, and Mary (Steve) Blodgett of Omaha; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Leo.

Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday.

Interment with military honors will be at Calvary Cemetery in Fremont.
