SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), along with presenting sponsor Hauff Mid-America Sports, has announced its Men’s Soccer Players of the Week for contests played October 27-November 2, 2025. Midland University’s Hugo Garcia-Rosado Duran was selected as the GPAC Offensive Player of the Week, while Inigo Chavarria of Concordia University earned defensive honors.
Garcia, a senior from Barcelona, Spain, had 4 goals this week for the Warriors. He scored twice in the 8-1 win over Hastings and then scored twice in the first half against Briar Cliff in the opening round of the GPAC Tournament. This season, he leads the conference in goals (18) and ranks second in assists (7) for a GPAC-best 43 points.
