Sandra “Sandy” M. Cone, 72, of Fremont died Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Shalimar Gardens in Fremont. Sandy was born February 2, 1953 in Fremont to William R. “Bill” and Elaine (Mihulka) Emanuel.
Sandy was a graduate of Archbishop Bergan High School and lifetime resident of Fremont. Sandy married Harold “Elmer” Cone on August 21, 1971 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont.
She was a real estate agent at Coldwell Banker and at Don Peterson & Associates in Fremont, and member of Fremont Area Realtors Association. Sandy was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and served as an Eucharistic Minister. She was a member of St. Patrick Softball League and the Lioness Club.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Harold; sons, Nicholas (Amy) Cone and Nathan (Brittany) Cone, brother, Mark (Julie) Emanuel of Marietta, Georgia, two sisters, Nancy (Doug) Leypoldt of Omaha and Karen (Curtis) Mitchell of Vinita, Oklahoma, five grandchildren, Hayden, Brody and Peyton Cone and Natalie (Dakota) McClain and three great-grandchildren, Maddison, Harper and Hudson. Survivors also include Harold’s siblings, Ronald Cone, Gary (Wanda) Cone, Jeff (Sandy) Cone, Mary Jo Hoiten, Sandra (Johnie) Howard, Jane (Butch)Brasel and Marcia (Scott) Tuschen all of South Dakota, Clinton (Kim) Cone of Schuyler, Kenny (Diane) Cone and Gerald (Chris) Cone of Fremont, Bradley Cone of Gig Harbor, Washington and Cindy (Steve) Prall of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and parents-in-law, Wellington and Kathryn Cone.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2025, at St. Patrick Catholic Church. A Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Sunday with visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Burial at Calvary Cemetery, Fremont.
