SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), along with presenting sponsor Hauff Mid-America Sports, has announced its Volleyball Players of the Week for contests played Sept. 8-14, 2025. Brooklynn Snyder of Midland University was named the GPAC Attacker of the Week, while Kyla Dyrstad of Morningside earned Setter of the Week and Emma Brueggemann was recognized as Defensive Player of the Week.
Snyder, a sophomore from Bennington, Nebraska, set a career high with 23 kills during Midland’s reverse sweep of Mount Marty. She hit .309 for the match and was a dominant force on the outside. In the deciding set, she tallied five kills and added two service aces.
Midland, ranked No. 17 nationally with a 7-5 record (2-0 GPAC), will look to build on its recent success this week with a pair of conference road matches. The Warriors travel to face No. 2 Concordia on Wednesday before heading to Hastings on Saturday.
