Nikitas J. Kalantjakos, 64, of Fremont passed away on August 4, 2025 at his home. He was born on December 8, 1960 in New York, New York, to John and Euterpe (Callinicos) Kalantjakos.

Following high school graduation, Nikitas received his B.S. in Business Administration Degree from the University of La Verne in Greece. He lived in several places including New York, Greece, and Nebraska. He was employed as a consultant for Priority Business Consulting and Services.

Nikitas married Lisa Waterman on February 1, 1986 in the Agia Marina Church in Dionysos, Greece. They had three sons, Jon, Tim and Zach. He was an avid runner, completing multiple marathons across the country. When he wasn’t enjoying his travels, he took great pride in his lawn, caring for his fish, reading and listening to music. He held a Captains license from the Panhellenic Open Sea Sailing Association and was a member of the PMI (Project Management Institute).

Nikitas is survived by his wife, Lisa; sons, Jon Kalantjakos, Tim (Tara) Kalantjakos, Zach Kalantjakos all of Omaha; brothers, Vasilis (Depy) Kalantjakos and Emmanuel Kalantjakos all of Athens, Greece; grandchildren, Jonah Queen, Liliana, Sophia, and Helena Kalantjokos.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents, Spiros and Stamoula Callinicos and Nikitas and Irene Kalantjakos.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2025, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Pastor Tony Dawson will officiate. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday . at Moser’s in Fremont.
