The Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Agriculture Awards luncheon that was scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed until Friday (March 21).
The event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fremont City Auditorium. Governor Jim Pillen will provide special remarks while Matt Kreifels is the keynote speaker.
Norder Supply, Inc. will be honored at the Ag Business of the Year while Wiemer Ag Services will be recognized as Ag Innovator of the Year. Jay and Clark Volk will be awarded the Ag Family of the Year Award while Dale and Nancy Hilgenkamp will be honored as the Ag Specialty Producer.
