Former Dodge County Attorney Oliver Glass was sentenced Friday in Lancaster County Court for driving under the influence for a third time.

Glass was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 36 months of probation and a $1,000 fine.

The charge stemmed from an incident in July near Rosa Parks Way and U.S. Highway 77. A Nebraska State Patrol trooper noticed Glass’ vehicle was broken down with a flat tire. Glass’ blood alcohol content was .154.

Judge Joseph Dalton granted Glass’ request to leave jail for work.

Glass had originally entered a not guilty plea, but on Sept. 3 he entered a motion requesting that be changed to guilty. The request was granted by Dalton.

Dalton found Glass guilty of the charge last month.
