
A road rage incident on Wednesday has resulted in charges against a Fremont man.
The incident occurred at about 11 a.m. south of Lincoln on U.S. Highway 77 and Saltillo Road. A 33-year-old man called 911 reporting that a semi driver hauling cattle pointed a teal 9 mm handgun at him after being cutoff on the highway.
Lancaster County deputies stopped Nathan Dorries, 30, near Highway 77 and West O Street. They recovered the handgun from from the back pocket of the driver’s seat.
Dorries was arrested and charged with terroristic threats, use of a weapon to commit a felony and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
Dorries has a prior felony conviction from 2016 for flight to avoid arrest in Madison.
Authorities said no one was injured in the incident.
