
The John C. Fremont Days Board of Directors have announced the 2024 parade winners.
The Fremont Rural Fire Department won for best overall entry. The best business entry went to Christensen Lumber while the best religious entry was presented to Lifegate Church.
Nebraska Antique Power Association captured top honors for best historical entry while the best marching band entry went to Maple Music Studios Summer Drumline.
Judges for the parade were: Megan Skiles, executive director of the Greater Fremont Development Council; Blair Horner, Fremont City Council member for Ward 2; and John Gieselmann, sergeant with the Fremont Police Department.
The board would like to thank all of the parade entries this year and hope to see them back in 2025.
