Dr. John L. Schiffbauer, 75, of Fremont passed away Monday, June 24, 2024, at Nye Legacy in Fremont. He was born August 15, 1948 in Omaha.
John graduated from Omaha Creighton Prep High School in 1966 at later Creighton University and received his Doctorate in Medicine from UNMC in Omaha. He had pediatrician practices in Omaha, Fremont and Springfield, Missouri. John retired in 2020.
He was a member of Living Word Church in Fremont and various medical associations over the years.
John married LeeAnn Weimer on September 20, 2008 in Fremont.
Survived by his wife, LeeAnn of Fremont; son, Robert (Sara) of Elkhorn; daughter, Amy of Northfield, Minnesota; brothers, Robert (Shirley) Schiffbauer of Lincoln and David Snow of Denver; sisters, Karolyn Snow (Joe Rook) of Denver, Judy (John) Montera of Pueblo, Colorado, Nancy (Jeff) Smith of San Antonio, Texas, and Barbara (Terry) Tekip of Denver and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his birth mother, and adoptive parents, William and Vera (Schuhart) Schiffbauer.
