It was a good weekend for RVR Bank baseball. The RVR Bank Juniors played in the Elkhorn Wood Bat Tournament and finished as the runner up at 3-1.
On Friday, the RVR Bank Post 20 Juniors beat the COLBA Eagles, 7-3. Saturday, the Juniors beat the Elkhorn, Ortho Nebraska Juniors, 11-7, then lost to Bennington Post 26 Juniors, 2-1. On Sunday Fremont’s RVR Juniors beat the Burke, Omaha Electric Juniors 9-1, to finish as the runner up. Come see the Juniors in action on Tuesday, June 25th, when they host Lincoln East at 5pm at Schilke Field. You can hear the game with Chris Whitney, on Mix 105.5, beginning at 4:50pm.
The RVR Bank Seniors played in the Omaha South tournament Friday thru Sunday. Friday night, they beat Jordan’s Studio Post 331, 6-4. Saturday, the RVR Bank Post 20 Seniors held off the Gretna East Griffs Senior Legion 5-2, and then clubbed Omaha Northwest, 16-0.
