Adrian Charles Lofgren, 84, of Fremont passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, NE.

Adrian was born on September 19, 1939 at Oakland Hospital to Wallace & Lola (Swanson) Lofgren and raised on a farm east of West Point. He was graduated from West Point High in 1957 and went to Universal Trade School in Omaha. He then opened an auto body shop in Lyons. He served in the Air National Guard for approximately 5 years. He married Sharon Andreasen of Oakland on December 1, 1962. They later moved to the farm near West Point and in later years got his real estate broker’s license.

Adrian was a hard worker and devoted husband and father and faithful Christian. He deeply cared for and loved his family & friends. He spent many hours researching his family history, enjoyed updating records for the Westside Methodist Cemetery, and often reminisced about farm life. He never wanted to miss a West Point High class reunion and enjoyed years of traveling with his fifth-wheel alongside his wife.

Adrian is survived by wife of 61 years Sharon, son Michael Lofgren of Omaha, and daughter Lisa Bock of Lincoln; Grandchildren Jon Lofgren, Mykayla (Peter) Moeschen, Brittney Kendall, Landon Bock; two great-grandsons Titan Lofgren & Liam Adrian Moeschen; Brothers James (Phyllis) Lofgren, Clayton (Carol) Lofgren, brother-in-law Stan (Phyllis) Andreasen.

Memorials are suggested to Westside Methodist Cemetery, Fremont Alliance Church or the donor’s choice.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the Fremont Alliance Church. Burial will be in the Westside Methodist Cemetery west of Oakland. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday with the family present from 6 to 8 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont.
