Edna C. Timme, 99, of Fremont died Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Edgewood Vista in Fremont.
Edna was born July 12, 1924 in Clifton, Kansas, to John and Augusta ‘Helms’ Kriete. She married Raymond Timme on October 29, 1944 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Linn, Kansas. After Ray returned from overseas military deployment they moved to Fremont and started their Blacksmith/Welding business (Timme Welding). Edna worked along side as bookkeeper for 55 years.
Edna’s hobbies were gardening and growing African Violets. She also made around 60 beautiful quilts. Edna enjoyed time spent at the Senior Center and was a charter member of the Friendship Bible Class at Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a member.

Daughter – Virginia ‘Ginny’ Hill of Pineville, West Virginia.
Son – Gary Timme of Fremont
Daughter-in-law – Geanine Timme of Fremont

Edna was preceded in death by her husband Ray in 2006, son Robert, brothers Albert and Herman, Sisters Malinda Grother, Marie Grother, Emma Kriete and Lula Parmenter.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday March 7, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Vicar Greg Rathke will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran School and Church. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with the family present from 6 to 8 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont.
