Carol L. Wiebold, 81 of North Bend, Nebraska passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Nye Legacy in Fremont. She was born March 15, 1942 in Fremont to Harry and Esther (Bandlow) Lincoln.
Carol grew up in Fremont and graduated from Fremont Senior High School. She married Carroll Wiebold on July 24, 1960 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. They moved to North Bend in 1965.
She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in North Bend and the North Bend Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
Survived by her husband, Carroll; sons, Scott (Lepa) Wiebold all of North Bend, and son, Tim (Carol T.) Wiebold of North Fort Myers, Florida; daughter, Lorie (Tony) Washington of Grand Island; sister, Mary Wahl of Fremont; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and several brothers and sisters-in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Bob Nelson and eight sisters and five brothers.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in North Bend. Visitation will be on 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 11 at Moser Memorial Chapel in North Bend.
Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
