Big Red Restaurant and Sports Bar in Fremont will be hosting a Medical Marijuana Petition Signing Event starting at 6:30 Monday night.
The event will last through the Kansas City vs. Philadelphia football game.
Organizers said the purpose of the petitions is to get the question of medical cannabis on the state ballot for the 2024 election. Petitions will be available for voters in Dodge and surrounding counties.
Supporters said medical cannabis is an effective treatment for a variety of conditions, including epilepsy.
